Answers:
Brownson Technical School offers two schedules.
Day classes meet Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am and either 1:15 or 2:00 pm, depending on the class selected.
Evening classes meet Monday through Wednesday, between 6:30 pm and 10:30 pm.
2. How long does training take to complete?
Day programs range from 15 to 45 weeks of training, depending on the program selected.
Evening programs range from 50 to 81 weeks of training, depending on the program selected.
3. When training is completed, what will I receive?
Graduates of Brownson Technical School receive a certificate of completion (a diploma). Brownson Technical School does not offer degree programs.
Brownson Technical School is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) and grantedapproval to opperate by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE).
5. What does it cost to attend Brownson Technical School?
Costs vary from program to program. Actual student costs can be very different from tuition costs, depending upon financial aid eligibility. Some students feel that the costs are an investment because of the additional earnings capacity they experience.
6. Can I use my Veterans benefits to attend Brownson Technical School?
Yes, the school participates in the various programs offeded by the Veterans Administration that apply to private career schools, including the G.I.Bill.
7. Does the school guarantee placement?
No school can guarantee placement, but Brownson Technical School offers placement services to all graduates. Placement services are frequently the key to bridging the skills learned in training to the reality of a job in the field.
8. Do I have to be a high school graduate to attend school?
It is possible to attend Brownson Technical School without having graduated high school (or having a GED). It involves the student passing a special test that will be scheduled by the financial aid department.
New classes start on the first Monday of each month.
10. Are credits earned at Brownson Technical School transferrable to a degree granting school?
In many cases, yes. Brownson Technical School is a member of the "Transfer Alliance". Other member schools have agreed to accept the credits from other member schools if those credits are the same as theirs. The Transfer Alliance is only between accredited schools.
